An extremely rare antique Art Nouveau/Arts and Crafts Birmingham Guild of Handicraft (BGH) No. 44 Copper & Brass Table Lamp or Wall Light by Arthur Stansfield Dixon, with beautifully crafted copper & brass shade & original W.A.S. Benson switch, Birmingham, England, c. 1905.


No.44 in the Birmingham Guild of Handicraft catalogue (source V&A museum).   


The lamp is completely original & is made from intricate superbly finished brass components that are highly engineered, well designed & in excellent original condition.  


Provenance: Madresfield Court country house, home of the Lygon family for six centuries, Malvern UK.


Highly rare & unseen in such excellent original condition.


Size: 41cm high x 26.5cm diameter.  


Date: c. 1905


Marks: Impressed with B.G.H. mark.


Condition:  In superb original condition, the lamp has been re-wired in our workshops with antique style braided silk twist flex and it is in working order ready to use.
